Pain Management Clinic Kelowna

Pain Management Clinic Kelowna - A vertebral subluxation is a misalignment in the vertebrae of the spine, that impedes the communication between body and brain. A vertebral subluxation is understood as a spinal irregularity which can result in pain and a host of other health problems, like for instance dizziness, tiredness, lowered resistance to disease, and general poor health. Vertebral subluxations, if untreated for several years, could erode health and vitality and impact several different areas of the body.

The premise of chiropractic care is the diagnosis and treatment of vertebral subluxations. Chiropractic doctors treat vertebral subluxations through hands-on techniques of spinal manipulation.

Depending on the details of the condition, a vertebral subluxation may be labeled in a different way. Spinal Kinesiopathology refers to the vertebrae being jammed and either very stiff or, conversely, too mobile. It feels uncomfortable to twist, turn or bend in any direction.

Myopathology is a condition of in which the patient suffers from chronically sensitive, tight, spastic, weak and/or sore muscles.

Neuropathophysiology tackles impinged nerves that lead to numbness, tingling, pain and/or pins-and needles. There is a blocking of the impulses traveling through the nerves and of the chemicals which flow over the nerves.

Histopathology refers to painful spots, trigger points, tenderness, swelling in the soft tissues, probably affecting cartilage, organs, discs, tendons and ligaments.

Pathophysiology refers to the body's organs, muscles, ligaments and joints seem to be aging in advance, accompanied by tiredness, vulnerability to disease, and low physical and mental energy.

Subluxations have various causes. These reasons can be grouped as macro-stress, which comprises traumas like for example falls, sports injuries and accidents, and micro-stress, which comes from repetitive movements which slowly wear down the body.

In kids, subluxations can be caused from falls and even in childbirth; hence young children may need chiropractic treatment. Spinal damage at birth is the main reason for several neurological and other health issues.

The vertebral subluxation complex is the most likely cause of nerve interference and irritation, but is not the only cause of interference with nerve messages. Nerves can be severely damaged by neurological sicknesses like multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, polio, and cerebral palsy. Various reasons comprise trauma, drugs, stroke, arthritis, tumors and bone breakage.
